Day 01: |
Zurich
Welcome to your tour of Switzerland! Switzerland is a pristine country of lakes, mountains and forests.
For centuries, protected by the mountain range that surrounds it, Switzerland has been an idyllic oasis in
the middle of Europe. Zurich is a city that surprises visitors with a kaleidoscope of landscapes. Inarguably
the country's most important city economically, and a major European business centre to boot, Zurich can
also boast the biggest and best cultural attractions in the nation. After clearing customs and immigrations,
transfer on your own to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. |

Day 02: |
Zurich – Interlaken
Today takes you on to Interlaken. Irresistible combination of pastoral beauty and wild mountain grandeur
has made this town one of Switzerland's most popular tourist attractions for over a hundred years.
After breakfast, proceed on your own to the train station for your onward journey to Interlaken. On
arrival, proceed to the hotel on your own. Later in the afternoon you visit Schilthorn - at an altitude of
3000 meters you can admire Switzerland's most breathtaking 360 degree alpine panorama. Proceed to
Lauterbrunnen station from where you can take the yellow postal bus to Stechelberg. From here you
need to take the cable car to Murren and ascend to Brig where you change the last cable car to reach
Schilthorn. There is a panoramic restaurant named Piz Gloria at the summit, which is where the James
Bond movie On her Majesty's Secret Service was set. Later in the evening return to the hotel. Overnight

Day 03 : |
Interlaken
Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel. Today you have the option to visit Mt. Jungfrau. Begin the journey
from Interlaken Ost station to Lauterbrunnen. Travel by the cogwheel railway from Lauterbrunnen to
Kleine Scheidegg and then to Jungfraujoch. This unforgettable trip by the cogwheel rail to the high-Alpine
wonderland of eternal ice and snow is the true "highlight" of a visit to Switzerland. At an amazing 3454
metres, this is Europe's highest-altitude railway station.Attractions on the Jungfraujoch are the Ice
Palace, Ice Gateway, Sphinx observation terrace, Plateau with hikes in the eternal snow,"Top of Europe"
Glacier Restaurant, High Alpine Research Exhibition.During summer (June-September) you can enjoy ski &
snowboard park, husky-drawn sledge rides and adventure attractions. There are plenty of lifts to take you
up and down between the terminus, the cafe, the restaurant, the souvenir shop and the viewing galleries
and all sides of the building offer superb views of craggy, snow-capped peaks, glaciers and fluffy, white

Day 04: |
Interlaken to Lucern
Today takes you onto Lucerne. Lucerne is Europe's most charming small city. It's a mixture of Renaissance
and medieval architecture combined with its laid back continental ambience has established this small
Alpine settlement as one of the major tourist destinations in Europe. After early morning breakfast
proceed on your own to the station for your onward journey to Lucerne. On arrival, transfer on your
own to the hotel. Today you visit Mt. Titlis. An adventure excursion to the highest advantage point in
Central Switzerland. Proceed to Engelberg by train from where you will board the aerial cableway for
a 45 minute journey from the green valley bottom to the high alpine glacier region at 3020 m/10000
ft, which guarantees snow the whole year round. Enjoy a magnificent ride in the world's first ever
revolving 'ROTAIR' gondola, which offers a 360 degree panoramic view of the Alps. Visit the Ice Grotto
and experience the new 'Ice Flyer', a chair lift ride over the glacier with fantastic views into crevasses
and ice falls and enjoy a snow slide on the 'Fun lift'. Evening is free. Overnight at the hotel. |

Day 05: |
Lucerne
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today you have the option to visit Mt Pilatus known as the dragon mountain
of Switzerland. Travel by boat or train to Alpnachstad and by the steepest cogwheel railway to the top.
The highlight of the tour is the magnificent view from 7000 feet above sea level. At the summit, see
over 70 peaks and five different lakes. (The cogwheel railway operates from May to November depending
on snow conditions. You can also reach the top by panoramic gondolas and aerial cable cars from Kriens.)

Day 06: |
Lucerne – Zurich
SIts time to return home with beautiful memories of your holiday. Check out of the hotel early morning and
transfer to Zurich airport by train for your flight back home. |
